Samsung Galaxy S23 FE launch later this year

Because of the continuous chip shortage and the rising demand for Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung made the decision not to release the Galaxy S22 FE the previous year. According to a recent claim that was published by a news outlet in South Korea called The Elec, the Fan Edition series is expected to make a comeback in 2023, with the Galaxy S23 FE being released sometime between the months of August and September.

The Galaxy FE series shot to prominence with the release of the Galaxy S20 FE in 2020, which accounted for more than 10 million shipments in that single year. It is difficult to follow up on such a well-received handset, and the Galaxy S21 FE did not perform as well as expected, which caused Samsung to reevaluate its plans for the FE lineup going ahead.

According to the current source, Samsung is going to forego the Galaxy A74 in favor of putting more of its attention on expanding the availability of the S23 FE in more markets. Samsung is in the process of reorganizing its Galaxy A-series product lineup, and it seems likely that the A7-series will be eliminated. The next FE phone will be released with either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Samsung or 2022’s most powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
