After two years of being banned in the US, Huawei is expanding Harmony OS’s reach.The company hopes to get Harmony OS on 100 million devices this year.Huawei announced today that Harmony OS 2 is now available on 65 devices.
Older Huawei and Honor flagships like the P40, P30, Mate 40, and Mate 30 series now get the stable version of Harmony OS 2.Huawei Nova devices from 6 to 8 will also get Harmony OS 2.The V30, V30 Pro, V20, Magic 2, and others will be updated.

Since the above list is from the company’s China arm, customers in the US, Europe, and other regions may have to wait longer.Worry not if your Huawei or Honor phone isn’t listed.The company has promised to update over 80 models.
Harmony OS 2 was announced last September.The software is pre-installed on the company’s latest P50 flagship phones.It includes a device-specific user interface, enhanced security, and “AI audiovisual” voice recognition for Huawei and Honor phones.Better cross-device functionality, faster remote read/write, and faster search than Samba and iOS Spotlight.
