Amazon Recovers From a Worldwide Outage

Amazon has finally recovered from a global outage that disrupted services for tens of thousands of people.Several countries around the world reported the outage, which lasted about 2 hours.

The outage began around Monday morning (PST), with over 38,000 people reporting the Amazon website down on Downdetector.According to Downdetector, 81 percent of the issues were related to the website, 15 percent were due to logins, and 5 percent were due to checkout.

The majority of Twitter users reported that they couldn’t see any of the items they had chosen.Customers were being diverted to the website’s homepage after selecting an item, while others were having trouble adding items to the cart.

Customers were quickly contacted by the Amazon Help account on Twitter, who apologised for the problem.Amazon informed customers that it is working on the problem and should be able to resolve it soon.

The company announced that the problem had been resolved a few hours later.
