Both the OnePlus Nord and Nord CE have received software updates that improve performance.

In the wake of the release of the Nord CE, OnePlus has also released two software updates for its mid-range devices: one for the original Nord and another for the Nord CE, which was released in June.

The original Nord is getting OxygenOS 11.1.5.5 in all regions, though there is a difference in the build: AC01AA for North America, AC01DA for India, and AC01BA for Europe. Among the new features in this update are the August 2021 security patch level, improved system stability, and screenshot functionality. There is also a Bitmoji AOD, which was developed in collaboration with Snapchat, “which will liven up the ambient display with your personal Bitmoji avatar,” according to the company. This avatar will change throughout the day in response to your activities and the events taking place around you.

If you want to install the update, you’ll need to have at least 30% battery life and 3GB of free storage space on your device.

Alternatively, the Nord CE is currently receiving OxygenOS 11.0.6.6, with build code EB13DA for India, build code EB13BA for Europe, and build code EB13AA for North America.

Performance is improved, security patches for July 2021 are included, Google Mobile Services is upgraded to version 2021.06, and camera effects are optimised for better photo quality in this update, among other things.

As is always the case, both of these releases will be released in stages, with a small percentage of users receiving them today and a larger rollout following in a few days if no major bugs are discovered.
