The Exynos 2200 is expected to be Samsung’s next flagship chipset. It will also be the first Samsung chip to include Radeon graphics, compliments of an AMD GPU.
This chip recently completed the 3DMark Wild Life benchmark, scoring an impressive 8134 points. This score is significantly higher than Qualcomm’s current flagship, the Snapdragon888, but more importantly, it may be higher than Qualcomm’s 2022 flagship chip, termed the Snapdragon 895.
According to renowned tipster Anthony, the next top-tier Exynos chip may be faster than its Snapdragon rival in both CPU and GPU performance. In terms of GPU, it is expected to outperform the Apple A15 Bionic, but Apple remains the CPU king.
Previously, we saw reports of the Exynos 2200 outperforming its Apple and Qualcomm rivals in 3D benchmark results. As more reports come in, we expect the Exynos 2200 to be released soon, possibly later this month. That is when we will see actual benchmark results and how it compares to the other chips.
Meanwhile, Apple and Qualcomm are developing more powerful chips, which are expected to be released later this year.
