Facebook is investing $1 billion to encourage content creators to create content for Facebook and Instagram.This was announced by CEO Mark Zuckerberg yesterday, who stated that the company is making effort to keep creators and attract users to the platforms.
The social media platform is introducing Bonuses for Content Creators, which will reward people for producing high-quality content.The company’s investment will be used to develop bonus programmes that will help make up eligible creators when they reach certain successes.The investment will also be used to help content creators in producing their work.
Creators will be able to see which bonuses they can earn once the bonus programme is launched within the Instagram app.It is currently available to those who sign up to have advertisements placed in their live streams.
Additionally, Stars bonuses will be given to a select group of players who reach certain achievements.
The first round of Instagram bonuses will only be available through invites.Creators will be rewarded for reaching milestones in Live Videos and will be encouraged to include IGTV Ads in their videos.Creators on Reels will also be rewarded for creating high-quality content.
Onuses are expected to appear on Instagram and Facebook during the summer.
