Google Pixel 7a specs confirmed in live photos

Leaks, as is typically the case with Google’s products, reveal the entirety of the devices months before they are officially made available for purchase. Although the Pixel 6a was introduced in May of last year, it is expected that the Pixel 7a will be released right before the start of summer. But, we already know a significant amount of information regarding this device.

Design and display

The most recent leak includes live photographs of what is believed to be the iPhone 7, in addition to certain specifications. A 6.1-inch OLED panel with 1080p resolution and 90Hz refresh rate, Google’s Tensor G2 system-on-chip (the flagship chipset for 2022), and UFS 3.1 storage are all mentioned by the source.

The primary camera on the rear of the device is a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 sensor, and it is paired with a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor. The former will almost certainly represent a big improvement over the 12.2MP unit found on the Pixel 6a.

The possibility that the phone will handle standard wireless charging of 5 watts is probably the most exciting aspect of this report. With a true ultrawide camera, a powerful SoC, and wireless charging in the mid-range price bracket, the Pixel 7a has the potential to be an excellent all-rounder, provided that Google is able to sell it at a reasonable price.
