Honor 80 GT is launching on December 26, also expect a new Honor tablet soon.

Honor has announced the release of a brand new smartphone with a teaser on its Weibo page. After receiving 3C certification in China just this past week, the Honor 80 GT will be formally unveiled on the 26th.

Alongside the new Honor Pad shown in a second teaser, the phone will be the main attraction. No information about the tablet’s specs has been released, but it will be compatible with an Honor stylus and feature a single camera with an LED flash on the back.

The Honor 80 GT is going to be the fourth phone that was introduced in the Honor 80 series just last month. It will have three cameras, all of which will be aligned vertically, but in contrast to the Honor 80 and Honor 80 Pro, the camera island does not appear to be shaped like the number 8. (which could also be interpreted as the sign for infinity).

The positioning of the volume rocker and the camera design both give the impression that the upcoming Honor Pad is an entirely different device. There have been rumblings that it might be called the Honor V8 Pro, and we anticipate that official teasers will provide additional information in the week leading up to the event.
