Honor is preparing to introduce the Honor Magic 5 series to the worldwide market at MWC Barcelona on February 27. According to a credible source, the Chinese manufacturer may soon debut the Honor 90 series, the successor to the Honor 80 series.
To refresh your memory, the Honor 80 series debuted in China in November 2022 but has yet to make its global premiere. Multiple smartphones, including the Honor 80, Honor 80 Pro, and Honor 80 SE, were included in the portfolio. The business subsequently introduced the Honor 80 GT and 80 Pro Flat. While these devices are still relatively new, Honor is said to be developing the next-generation Honor 90 series.
A Chinese tipper asserted on Weibo that the new Honor 90 lineup could debut in China before the end of May. According to him, the series would avoid the pitfalls of its predecessor and feature significant camera department enhancements.
The cellphone Honor 90 reportedly includes optical image stabilization (OIS) to lessen video shakiness. The image processing and video recording capabilities may also be enhanced. Additionally, the lineup is anticipated to include twin speakers. The source has also revealed the Honor 90 series’ debut poster, which depicts two circles of differing sizes that appear to be red dishware bowls. This may indicate a potential redesign.
As previously stated, Honor will introduce the Magic 5 series globally at MWC. We should see three Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered smartphones, including a standard Magic 5, a Magic 5 Pro, and a Magic 5 Prestige Edition. There are also rumors that the business is developing Magic 5 Lite. Stay informed about updates.
