In the United States, the unlocked Samsung Galaxy A20 will receive One UI3.1, which is based on Android 11.

Devices locked to Xfinity Mobile’s network in the United States already received the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update earlier this month, and now it is the unlocked models that are getting a taste of the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system.

Additionally, in addition to the usual array of Android 11 and One UI 3.1 enhancements, the update includes the August 2021 Android security patch. It has firmware version A205U1UEU9CUH3, and it should be available to all unlocked units in the United States within a few weeks of release.

Alternatively, if you don’t want to wait for the latest notification to appear on your Galaxy A20, you can try manually checking for the update by going to its Settings > Software update menu.
