As the Mi Pad 5 nears its official official launch, Xiaomi has released some images of the device via Weibo in the meantime.Last week, Apple released a teaser video showing off the device’s keyboard.The company teased the August 10 launch of the slate by posting images of a keyboard on Twitter.Users may decide to purchase the keyboard as part of a tablet bundle.At this point, there are no further details available about the keyboard’s leather texture.
There may be a pouch on the keyboard for storing a Smart Pen.
Xiaomi had previously teased that the Mi Pad 5 would come with a Smart Stylus Pen in an earlier teaser.The Xiaomi Smart Pen stylus was recently spotted on the FCC website.It could be a low-energy Bluetooth-enabled gadget.
Other details revealed in the previous official teaser include an antenna band line and LTE/5G support for one model (probably the Mi Pad 5 Pro).It is also shown that the screen of the tablet has rounded corners.Previous unofficial teasers for the Mi Pad 5 series hinted at a dual rear camera setup and a flash module, with the rear camera possibly being an AI-enabled unit.
As of now, three models of the Mi Pad 5 series are rumoured to be on the way.IPS LCD screen, 120Hz display refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate will be found in each of the three models.Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 860 chipset will power the Mi Pad 5 Lite, while the Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipsets.
