China’s consumer electronics giant Xiaomi has confirmed that the Mi Pad 5 will be released on August 10.As previously reported, the much-discussed tablet will support stylus input.
Xiaomi has kept the Mi Pad 5’s launch a secret, so not much is known about it yet.A stylus is confirmed to be included in the tablet, according to the updated images posted on Weibo.
August 10 will see Xiaomi introduce the Mi Mix 4 alongside the Mi Pad 5.Before the official launch, the company is expected to reveal more details about the upcoming smartphone and tablet senior.
Mi Pad 5 will have flat frames, an antenna line on one of its sides, and LTE/5G connectivity according to the image.
A rumour has it that the Mi Pad 5 series will consist of three tablets – the mi pad 5, the mi pad 5 lite, and the mi pad 5.A 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate are said to be included in all three devices.
The Snapdragon 870 is expected to power the vanilla and pro models, while the Snapdragon 860 is expected to power the Lite model.
Mi Pad 5 will have a camera island on the back, similar to the Mi 11, and a keyboard cover case with a stylus holster, according to leaked images.
It’s expected that Xiaomi will confirm a few features of the Mi Mix 4 and Mi Pad 5 in the days leading up to their official unveilings on August 10.
