The much-anticipated Realme GT Neo 5 has now been made available for purchase. China, the company’s home market, was the location where the announcement of the fresh new smartphone took place, and it comes with some pretty significant specifications and features.
Display and design
The back of the gadget features a distinctive design, in contrast to the front, which has a more conventional appearance. The display also has a 144 Hz refresh rate.
In terms of both its performance and its internal specifications, the Realme GT Neo 5 is a smartphone that is on par with premium models. It comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which is the previous generation’s version and is nevertheless extremely competent. Depending on the charging type, this processor can be combined with up to 256GB or 1TB of UFS 3.1 internal storage and up to 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Notably, there are two separate models of smartphones to choose from, each of which has a different charging rate as well as a different size battery.
The first option is the more budget-friendly 150W model, which has a massive 5,000mAh battery pack and compatibility with an outstanding 150W fast cable charging system. On the other hand, the more expensive model has a battery pack that has a capacity of only 4,600 mAh, but it offers the world’s first 240-watt rapid charging. This is the fastest possible charging rate that can be achieved over the USB Type C connector at the moment. Realme claims that its product can go from having a battery capacity of 1 percent to having a battery capacity of 20 percent in just 80 seconds of charging.
The Realme GT Neo 5 has a camera arrangement on the back that consists of three separate cameras. This module incorporates an OIS-capable Sony IMX890 sensor that has a resolution of 50 megapixels. This primary camera has a 2 megapixel sensor for macro photography and an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens (Sony IMX355) to take pictures with.
