In conjunction with the unveiling of the Honor 80 GT, the company also unveiled its new Pad V8 Pro tablet, which comes equipped with powerful internal components. Since this is Honor’s top-of-the-line tablet, you can expect it to have a respectable amount of power.

The Honor Pad V8 Pro is constructed around a huge 12.1-inch IPS LCD panel that has a resolution of 2560 by 1600 pixels, 10-bit color depth, and a 144Hz refresh rate. It also covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Honor claims that their new tablet is the first of its kind to provide a refresh rate of 144Hz. One further intriguing aspect is the IMAX Enhanced accreditation, which if achieved would enable users to stream content that is up to the same quality level as IMAX films. This was more common in televisions in the past, but it now looks like the feature has made its way into the realm of tablets as well.

The gadget also features a pair of eight strong speakers that are capable of supporting DTS:X surround sound, making it ideal for providing users with a comprehensive multimedia experience.

Since the gadget is powered by a powerful Dimensity 8100 SoC, in addition to having 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the quick display would also come in useful when gaming on the device. There are additional possibilities for 12GB/256GB and 8GB/256GB storage space.
The rear camera has a normal resolution of 13 megapixels and a focal length of 2.0 millimetres; the front-facing camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels and a focal length of 2.2 millimetres and has a fixed focus. This is typical of tablet cameras.
All of that hardware is kept running by a battery that has a big capacity of 10,050 mAh and supports 35W fast wired charging. On the V8 Pro, the operating systems Magic UI 7.0 and Android 12 are pre-installed when the device is purchased.

The Honor Pad V8 Pro is compatible with both the magnetic keyboard that Honor offers as well as an active stylus pen.

Gray, blue, and orange are the hues that can be selected, with the latter having a texture similar to that of imitation leather. Aluminum cladding can be seen on the Grey and Blue variants. The 8GB/128GB configuration of the V8 Pro has a starting price of CNY 2,599 (about $375 and 85,016 in PKR), while the 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB variants have prices of CNY 2,899 (about $420 and 95,218 in PKR) and CNY 3,299 (about $475 and 107,687 in PKR), respectively. It is currently uncertain whether or not the tablet would be available in countries other than China.
