In March, Honor presented the X7, which is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 processor. It appears that the company will shortly follow up with an ‘a’ edition, the specifications, and photographs of which have been discovered online.
The display of the Honor X7a is an HD+ panel, just like the display on the Honor X7, except it is slightly smaller (6.7 inches as opposed to 6.74 inches) and it has a slower screen refresh rate (60Hz vs. 90Hz). The screen features a cutout for the 8MP selfie camera, however, we are unsure whether it has the same capabilities as the camera on the X7’s front-facing camera.

The primary camera of the Honor X7a has a resolution of 50 megapixels, while the ultrawide camera has 5 megapixels, the macro camera has 2 megapixels, and the telephoto camera has 2 megapixels. The mobile device’s system-on-chip (SoC) is an Helio G37, and it boasts 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space. It comes preinstalled with Android 12 and has a battery that has a capacity of 5,230 mAh, which is an increase of 230 mAh over the X7’s battery. On the other hand, it is not apparent whether the charging rate is altered from that of the X7 (22.5W) or whether it stays the same.

The source states that the Honor X7a, which will be available at a lower price point than the X7, will weigh 196 grammes and include a fingerprint scanner that is positioned on the side. In addition to that, it is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone port and will be available in two different colours, namely Midnight Black and Ocean Blue.
