The new Realme GT Neo 5 includes a Snapdragon 8+Gen 1 and 240W charging speed

There are rumors that the Realme GT Neo 5 will support fast charging at 240 watts and will have three cameras on the rear. The most recent gossip suggests that it will come equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU. The source also stated that the camera will be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor as well as optical image stabilization (OIS). These are capabilities that have been seen in Oppo products such as the new Find N2 and the Reno9 Pro+.

Even though the poster is almost certainly a fan render, this source has been reliable in the occasional leaks that they have provided. They claim that Realme would not downgrade the capabilities of the Snapdragon processor in order to increase its speed but will instead employ all of the power that the chipset has to offer.

The addition of a chipset that was previously used in the company’s flagship smartphone could mean that the Neo line of smartphones will be reclassified as premium products rather than mid-range devices with fast-charging capabilities. Premium products fall into the category of having performance that is superior to that of the midfield.

Although Realme has not yet provided any official information on whether or not this device will be released in the near future, the rumor mill has been leaking information with increasing regularity, so it is probable that the company will shortly announce its introduction.
