The new Realme GT Neo 5 will have a 240W charging speed and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor

The debut of the Realme GT Neo 5 is expected to take place in February. Ahead of the product’s introduction, the Chinese TENAA authorities gave their stamp of approval to both of the product’s battery iterations, which carry the model numbers RMX706 and RMX3708. However, the TENAA lists had only shown their pictures up until that point. Both listings have now been brought up to speed with the most recent information on the phone’s primary features.

Both versions of the Realme GT Neo 5 have the same internal hardware and software components. However, the RMX3706 model comes with a dual-cell battery that has a rated capacity of 2,425mAh, while the RMX3708 model has a dual-cell battery that has a rated capacity of 2,225mAh. It looks that the earlier model may have a dual-cell battery with a typical value of 4,600mAh, and the latter model may contain a dual-cell battery with a usual value of 5,000mAh.

Because it is anticipated to enable 150W charging, the RMX3706 model will most likely be branded as the Realme GT Neo 5 150W when it is released. Because it supports 240W charging, the model with the model number RMX3708 might also be referred to as the Realme GT Neo 5 240W. The models are similar in every other respect, including their specs.

The Realme GT Neo 5 will ship with an AMOLED display measuring 6.74 inches and featuring a hole in the screen’s center. It has a refresh rate of 144 hertz and a resolution of 2772 by 1240 pixels, making it suitable for use with Full HD+ content. An under-display fingerprint sensor will be included as a precautionary measure in this device.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with a clock speed of 3.0 GHz will be the engine that drives the GT Neo 5, which is a modification of the standard version of this chip. It is anticipated that the product would ship with 8 GB, 12 GB, or 16 GB of RAM as well as 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of storage space. The 240W version is also available in a device with 1 TB of storage space. It will come with a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera set. The primary camera is rumored to be a Sony IMX890 with optical image stabilization built-in. Realme UI 4.0, an Android operating system based on version 13 will come preinstalled on it.

Other features, such as a plastic frame, RGB lighting, and an infrared blaster, are anticipated to be included in the smartphone when it launches. It weighs about 199 grams and has dimensions of 163.85 x 75.75 x 8.9 millimeters.
