Oppo has released an S version of the Oppo A56 5G, which was initially released in November 2021. As if things weren’t already confusing enough, this development comes after Oppo released the original model. However, the new A56s 5G is indistinguishable from the Oppo A57s, which was released a year ago and had identical specifications and a design.
Design and Display:
This one, much like the Oppo A57, also features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display, but its maximum resolution is only 720p, and its refresh rate is a silky smooth 90Hz. There is a large bottom bezel, a waterdrop-shaped cutout for the front-facing camera, and a fingerprint sensor that is positioned on the side for quick unlocking. The maximum brightness of the display may reach up to 600 nits.
The MediaTek Density 810 chipset is also unaltered, and it can work with as much as 8 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM). You have the choice of selecting storage capacities ranging from 128 GB all the way up to 256 GB, all of which are extensible using microSD cards.
Despite the fact that it is a phone from the year 2023, the operating system that comes preinstalled is Android 12 with Color OS on top.
Cameras:
On the back of the device is a primary camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels (1/3.06 inches, 1.12 microns) that is capable of shooting video in 1080p at 30 frames per second. In addition, there is a depth sensor with 2 megapixels that can assist in taking portrait photographs. The front-facing camera that’s housed within the waterdrop notch is an 8-megapixel snapper that’s also capable of filming video in 1080p.
Battery and Pricing:
The battery capacity of 5,000 mAh is carried over from the Oppo A56 5G, although the device does not support any type of rapid charging. One positive note is that the USB-C port has not been removed.
Black and blue are the two color possibilities for the Oppo A56s 5G, which has a starting price in China of $189, and 42,935 Rupees.
