According to recent revelations, the MIUI 14 operating system will be updated to the Redmi Note 9 series, which has been on the market for almost three years. After a few days have passed, the same insider has now revealed when we may anticipate the rollout to begin. Unsurprisingly, customers who utilize these mobile devices will have to hold off for a little while longer. But thankfully not quite as much as I expected.
The following mobile devices, according to Xiaomiui, will be able to download the MIUI 14 upgrade based on Android 12 in the second quarter of 2023. involve Redmi Note 9 4G, Redmi Note 9S, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, and Poco M2 Pro. All of the aforementioned mobile devices run on the same platform, in case anyone was unaware of this fact. They are only distinct from one another in certain areas.
According to the newspaper, the most recent version of MIUI for these phones may become available between the months of April and May. In other words, customers will need to be patient for around three months. In addition to the previously mentioned mobile devices, the MIUI 14 upgrade is also going to be made available for the Redmi 10X series, the Redmi 9, and the Poco M2. Even for them, the software build will be based on Android 12, not Android 13, as was originally planned.
However, as of right now, we do not have any information regarding the updated rollout schedule for them. The rollout will almost certainly take place at approximately the same time. Each of these handsets has already been provided with two updates to MIUI as well as two updates to Android. It is highly likely that MIUI 14 will be the company’s final significant software upgrade.
