Vivo made the announcement earlier today, which is the 6th of January 2023, that it would be bringing out support for the next generation of Ray Tracing technology for its latest flagship series, the Vivo X90. This would result in an enhanced gaming experience on these devices. So, with that said, here are all the specifics.

X90 Series

Thanks to the X90 series, which has MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is delivering support for the Ray Tracing technology on a hardware flagship chip level. This is being made possible by the X90 series. Ray Tracing is essentially a new lighting and shading technology for video games, for those who are uninformed of what it is. Ray Tracing makes the process of creating shadows and lighting in a game happen in real time, when previously, games would often use pre-rendered shadows and lighting.
