Xiaomi has sold one million Redmi power banks (10,000 and 20,000 mAh)

Xiaomi released two Redmi-branded power banks in February of last year, one with a capacity of 10,000 mAh and the other with a capacity of 20,000 mAh.The company has now announced that it has sold a total of one million units of these two.

In India, the two power banks are currently on sale for INR 800 (20 percent off) for the 10,000 mAh model and INR 1,400 (30 percent off) for the 20,000 mAh model.Only the 10,000 model appears to be available in Europe, where it is currently on sale for €10.The larger model produces 18W, while the smaller model produces only 10W.Both can be recharged with USB-C or microUSB cables.

Although the 1 million sales are only for Redmi-branded units, Xiaomi announced last year that it had sold 10 million Mi power banks manufactured in India.

In2015, the company boasted that its 10,400 mAh power bank (released in December2013) was its best-selling accessory globally, with 10 million units sold.
